He insists after McGregor Promotions was listed as one of the partners for that bout, his career as just a fighter is over.

And if UFC boss Dana White want the Dublin brawler on a show, he will have to give out a stake in the company.

McGregor, 29, said: “We’re in the process of negotiations, there’s a couple of opponents across different sports now in play, there’s the boxing game also.

“We’re in the contract negotiation stage. It’s got to, they’ve got to entice me now because, I came from a billion-dollar fight.

“I want equity, I want pay-per-view. I want to be a true partner.

“You have to entice me now. I want to be a partner. I want to be a promoter and I want to be a fighter for me to continue.”

And as talks continue his emphasis that boxing is an alternative could give him the upper hand, with White knowing his fame guarantees a huge payday.

McGregor has admitted that he is still counting his cash form his £75million fight against Mayweather in August.

And although boxing legend Mayweather cruised to victory to take his record to 50-0, UFC star McGregor says it is time the pair did it all over again.

The Irish fighter revealed Mayweather said he would be prepared to fight under MMA rules – but he says whatever format they choose he is sure he will win the rematch.

During a Q&A event in Glasgow, McGregor said: “What sickens me is that the little m**********r is retired now.

“If I had another go with him, under boxing rules, I’d get that win. He had to change his whole approach.

“With those lessons I learned, with another go around, I’d get it. He’s 50-0 and getting on, I’m not calling him out. I’ll sit back.

“We’ll see how he gets on with this round of money. Maybe I’ll get another call.

“Originally he was saying an MMA bout next. That’s what he said before the fight.

“He did say an MMA fight. So if he wants to, lets f*****g do it.

“There’s not a hope in hell… I’d like to see him come over to our side and have a knock.

“I earned their respect and put myself out there. Style over to my side and earn our respect now.”
