Several summer camps for younger athletes are scheduled in the coming weeks.

First up is a football camp at St. Lucie West Centennial High School later this week. In July, volleyball camps at South Fork and Jensen Beach high schools are scheduled.

Here’s a look at the three upcoming camps.

SLW Centennial Football Camp: Jamar Chaney, St. Lucie West Centennial head football coach and a former NFL player, will conduct a youth football camp for players ages 7 to 13 from 5-8 p.m. on June 20, 21, 22 at Centennial High School. Cost of the camp is $75 (paid first night of camp; cash/checks only) and includes a free shirt. South Fork Volleyball Camp: Coaches/players from South Fork High School’s volleyball program will host a volleyball camp from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 17-21. Camp open to girls entering fifth through ninth grade. Cost is $135, second sibling is $100. Camp focus will be on technique, skill development and individual self-confidence. Jensen Beach Volleyball Camp:Jensen Beach High School volleyball coach Mike Sawtelle, his assistants and current/former players will host summer training camp 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 24-28. Camp open to girls entering fourth through eighth grade. Cost is $135, second sibling is $100. Camp focus is to increase skill development (serving, setting, passing, hitting, blocking, team defenses, offensive strategies) and game play situations. To register, go to nvlindoor.com.
